Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel offered a mixed experience. While the rooms provided a quiet and peaceful ambiance desired for an Alpine visit, they had a very unpleasant damp smell that was quite off-putting. The hotel's location, although boasting amazing views of the mountains and lake from atop a hill, seemed tired and in need of a renovation. The dining options were good but pricey, falling a bit short of expectations. The standout service from the staff was overshadowed by a disturbance caused by noise outside in the early hours.
The hotel offers great views of the surrounding lake and mountains, providing a relaxing retreat, but the uphill walk to the forest area at night could be challenging. The dining options seemed expensive, prompting us to dine elsewhere in Annecy, yet the grilled and boiled fish in the hotel's restaurant was enjoyable.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were a bit cramped with sloping ceilings that led to some head-bumping, but they did have tea and coffee facilities, which was a nice touch. However, the housekeeping service was quite late, only servicing the room after 5:00 p.m. both days. The overall atmosphere was cozy but might feel a bit too tight for some.
The hotel offers great views of the surrounding lake and mountains, providing a fantastic place to relax and soak up the sun. However, the breakfast seems overpriced, pushing guests to dine elsewhere. The rooms were clean and tidy, ensuring a comfortable stay, though some disturbances in the morning affected relaxation.
The hotel had an excellent view over the lake, but the rooms smelled very damp and unpleasant, with lumpy pillows not up to 4-star standards. The service was slow and unexplainable, and the location required a long uphill walk or dark forest scramble. Dining was basic and overpriced, while the facilities had no standout features.
